I feel kind of bad posting this, but in all honesty which would you rather be?

i can’t believe this shit.

As a girl who’s been both slender and fat, I can promise you that I am sexier, happier, and so much more comfortable fat.

Really.

Really really.

Not because being skinny is bad. It’s not. Not even a little bit.

But for me, confidence didn’t come at thin. I felt awkward. I felt stared at. I got nasty and demeaning comments from family, from friends, from outsiders.

But now? Now I’ve learned to love myself. Now I’ve learned to respect my body for what it is. I’ve learned that my self-worth is not based on the number on the scale. I’ve found the self-respect I needed to pursue healthy relationships, to develop normal eating habits, and to exercise when I want, because I want, and not because I ate the ‘wrong’ foods earlier.

And if they made a pill right now that would let me look like that beautiful girl in the yellow bikini, I wouldn’t take it. Not in a million years. She’s stunning. But she’s not me. And I don’t want her body. I want mine, fat and all.

Quality human being alert.  Not the OP of course, because seriously?  Assy, but that lady right above me?

In all honesty, can I be the bigger girl? Please! She has a starfish. Skinny chicks don’t get starfish.
